The Yard
Rules

A carrier is judged at the dock, not in the brochure — trailer at the door, bill in hand, signature back. This is the yard that runs it.

▮ Who we are —

County Road
23 North.

NLQ TRUCKING LLC is an Ohio carrier headquartered at 486 County Road 23 N in Quincy — Logan County farm-and-freight country, where a mile is a mile and a delivery window is a promise.

The fleet runs fifteen lanes in three route classes: the local round (general freight, container, and contract bulk mail), long-distance truckload, and long-distance less-than-truckload — every load moving on a numbered bill of lading.

Three Yard Rules

How the freight
is run.

RULE 1

Bill before wheels

No load moves on a handshake. Every shipment gets a numbered bill of lading — lane, rate, and window in writing before the truck rolls.

RULE 2

The window holds

Pickup and delivery windows are quoted like we intend to keep them — because we do. Delays are called ahead, not discovered at the dock.

RULE 3

Signature closes it

A load isn't done when it's dropped — it's done when the signed receipt comes back and the bill closes clean.

▮ What the lanes mean —

Round, haul,
or share.

Route 1 is the local round — same-day freight, container moves, and contract bulk mail inside the home territory.

Route 2 is the line-haul — a full trailer, one shipper, one consignee, door to door over distance. Route 3 consolidates partial loads onto the same long-distance lanes for shippers who don't fill a trailer.

Asked at Dispatch

Common
calls.

General freight — dry goods, palletized cargo, containers, and contract bulk mail. We run three route classes: local trucking, long-distance truckload (TL), and long-distance less-than-truckload (LTL). Fifteen registered lanes cover the combinations.

TL (Route 2) is a dedicated trailer — your freight fills the trailer and runs door to door. LTL (Route 3) is consolidated — partial loads share the trailer on the same long-distance lane, priced by the space you use.

Yes — contract bulk mail truck transportation is a registered lane, both local and long-distance TL. Contract terms, schedules, and reporting are handled through the dispatch office.

Call or write dispatch with origin, destination, freight description, weight, and timing. You get a written rate on the bill of lading before anything moves — no verbal quotes that change at the dock.

Local lanes run the Logan County / west-central Ohio round. TL and LTL run long-distance — origin or destination can be anywhere we hold authority; ask dispatch about your lane.

Call +1 (989) 534-9087 or write r.mcallister@nlqtruck.shop with the freight details. Dispatch confirms the lane, cuts the bill, and books the window — usually the same business day.
